HVAC Field Superintendent/Service Technician

Company: Phoenix Mechanical Contracting, Inc.   Location: Southborough, MA

Role:

Lead and coordinate multi-trade teams on mechanical projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality while maintaining clear communication between project management and field crews. Full-time position.

Core Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate multi-trade crews
• Review plans, drawings, and specifications
• Perform field layout and verify accuracy
• Manage submittals and material procurement
• Attend coordination and scheduling meetings
• Conduct daily site visits for progress and quality
• Communicate with Project Managers and field teams
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Qualifications/Technical Skills:

• OSHA 10 or 30 Certification
• Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License or Apprenticeship
• EPA Universal Certification
• Supervisory experience in mechanical construction
• Strong understanding of HVAC, refrigeration, piping, and sheet metal
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organization skills
• Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications
• Familiarity with project coordination and scheduling software
• Computer literate with e-mail, Microsoft Office suite and BlueBeam

Preferred Qualifications

• Massachusetts Refrigeration Contractor Or Technician License
• Sheet Metal License
